Provide full-time on-site support to the AWACS MTC program by performing System Administrator (SysAd) duties by maintaining the AWACS Mission Training Center (MTC) Sentry software product to support all manner of MTC operations, training or test events. Manage, in coordination with the Sentry Project Manager, the annual concurrency software release by directing and participating in Sentry product regression and load testing efforts. Document all testing efforts on the Jira and Wiki tools to effectively communicate/furnish test results to the Sentry Project Manager. To prepare for annual concurrency release, SysAd is responsible for developing effective relationships with local agencies that furnish reference materials and other documentation to allow for the timely receipt of documentation, establish requirements, and coordinate Requests for Information (RFIs) to augment deficient/missing documentation to support emulation development efforts. Responsible for identifying requirements for annual concurrency release differences training and coordinate development of training materials for MTC users. Coordinates changes to ASCOT user’s manual by providing updates for the technical writer to keep manuals current. Functions as key member in the Program Incident Report/Program Error Report (PIR/PER) process. Conduct/participate in meetings with Government agencies as required by contract.
