    Quadrant Training Solutions, LLC was formed specifically to meet the diverse requirements for programs of a larger magnitude. As a Joint Venture (JV) between BGI L.L.C., Crew Training International, PLEXSYS Interface Products, Inc., and ProActive Technologies, Inc., Quadrant Training Solutions, LLC was formed in order to bid and perform services required to support all Contractor Operation and Maintenance Services, Contractor Instructional Services, Courseware Development, LVC training, and Distributed Mission Operations.

     

    The Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) is responsible for ensuring the appropriate operational security posture for information systems.

    Responsibilities

    • Implements and tests state-of-the-art secure operating systems, networks, and database solutions.
    • Stays current with system vulnerabilities and provides current security training to all system users.
    • Conducts risk assessments and ensures secure implementation and maintains compliance in accordance with government regulations and cybersecurity and guidelines.
    • Responsible for continuous monitoring and regulatory assessments.
    • Creates, maintains and submits information system security documents and reports to regulatory agencies. Assesses and mitigates system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle; validates system security requirements definition and analysis; establishes system security documentation; assists with the implementation of security procedures; verifies information system security requirements; performs information system certification and accreditation planning, testing, assessing and liaison activities.
    • Familiar with information system security architectural documentation standards.
    • Relate cyber security features of the existing systems to future needs, trends and requirements.
    • Experience with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Security Controls, Risk Management Framework, and Air Force Platform IT (PIT).
    • Ability to put together Cybersecurity Impact Evaluation, working with engineering team to establish/update System Security Plans, Policies, Architecture Drawings, Emission Security (EMSEC) packages, and to complete Risk Management Framework Packages in eMASS or Xacta.
    • Perform Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) scans, run reports, and mitigate vulnerabilities.
    • Experience completing and assessing Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) checklists for systems.
    • Responsible to prepare and comply with Plans of Actions and Milestones.
    • The position requires broad technical background in information systems and flight simulators; and proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems, routed networks, firewalls, intrusion detection, COMSEC knowledge and experience, and VoIP.
    • Able to apply cyber security standards, directives, guidance and policies to an architectural/risk based framework.

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED

    • Security certification per DoD Directive 8570.01M (e.g., Security+, CISSP).
    • Must be current IAT Level II and able to obtain IAM Level II within six (6) months of hire.
    • Proficient in MS Word, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint applications.
    • Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed.
    • Clearance Required Prior to Start: Interim Secret.
