    PLEXSYS Interface Products, Inc., is a 100% employee owned small business, specializing in modeling and simulation systems and support services for 21st Century Air, Land, and Sea synthetic training.  Concentrations include the development of Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) environment generation technologies used throughout USAF Distributed Mission Operations and other joint and international high fidelity simulations.  As a company, we’re small and flexible enough for every person to take initiative and develop a long-term career with our organization. 


    As an entry level Software Test Technician you'll spend your days interacting with other departments to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, or modifications.  The right tech-savvy person will be able to identify functional problems and suggest resolutions.  You'll also assist in the definition of internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs.  This Software Test Engineer team relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and provide quality work. The Software Test Technician focuses on locally developed application testing.  If you’re someone with a can-do attitude and motivated to make your mark, while having fun doing it, you'll succeed in this role!


    • Executes test procedures to evaluate product quality and software functionality/performance/stability.
    • Clearly, completely, and promptly documents and updates bugs and feature requests within the defect management database
    • Assists developers and end-users to diagnose problems and resolve bugs
    • Assists in identifying changes to match user expectations with application functionality
    • Develops, maintain, and executes test cases to properly cover functional specifications and requirements.
    • Strives to grow familiarity with how PLEXSYS does business, and how the applications being used pertain to the daily operations workflow
    • Troubleshoots and triages software and hardware defects
    • Other duties, as assigned



    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Able to complete Certified Tester, Foundation Level certificate or equivalent.
    • Desired minimum one-year experience in Software Testing.
    • Applicants must have critical thinking capability and be able to identify, document, and reproduce technically oriented problems
    • Familiar with different software development and testing processes
    • Communicates effectively with developers and support personnel
    • Takes the initiative to learn new processes, systems, and technology
    • Capability to work and deliver within aggressive timelines
    • Flexibility in adjusting schedules to meet demanding deadlines
    • Ability to work in a team environment
    • Security Clearance: Secret desired
