PLEXSYS Interface Products, Inc., is a 100% employee owned small business, specializing in modeling and simulation systems and support services for 21st Century Air, Land, and Sea synthetic training.  PLEXSYS concentrations include the development of Live Virtual Constructive (LVC) environment generation technologies used throughout USAF Distributed Mission Operations and other joint and international high-fidelity simulations.

 

In the role of Product Specialist, you will act as the interface between our products and our customers. Communicates with customers, project managers, and the engineering team to identify and overcome technical challenges. Develop documentation and training guides for both internal and external use. Daily activities include supporting and providing technical expertise for our customers, partners, and staff both on- and off-site. Part of the team to develop the user documentation and help improve the user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Train internal and external customers in the operational use of ImmersaView products
  • Assist project managers as required with operational/technical expertise
  • Assist with ImmersaView product demonstrations and interact with customers
  • Writing checklists, training plans, reports, and other documentation
  • Recommend changes to match user expectations with application functionality
  • Operate, interface and troubleshoot our products in support of Live, Virtual and Constructive (LVC) exercises and training events
  • Ability to interface our products with other customer simulation products as well as real-world systems
  • Participate in software testing and articulate discrepancies to both operators and software engineers
  • Interface with engineers and customers to diagnose and fix problems and resolve bugs
  • Maintain professionalism in front of the customer
  • Ability to travel to customer sites to assist in installation, training, and fault diagnosis

Qualifications

Requirements

  • A Bachelor degree or higher in a related field, or equivalent military experience, or four years’ experience with our products
  • Understanding of computer networking or network engineering experience
  • Understanding of software installation, configuration management, and maintenance
  • Understanding of military operations and the ability to communicate it to Software Engineers and Project Managers
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products; Word, Access, and Excel
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance of secret or above

 

Desirable

  • Hands on experience with simulation systems
  • Experience with network administration
  • Experience with cyber security and information assurance
  • CompTIA certifications: A+, Network+, Security+
